1955 Nash Statesman Rental Added in Iowa

Midwest Movie Cars has added this 1955 Nash Statesman through the USA Movie Cars network. Its off-white exterior and blue interior remain all original, with the body in good shape and nothing altered from factory condition. Crews looking for an Iowa picture car rental now have a straightforward option that reflects everyday transportation from that decade without any custom modifications.

Spotlight on this 1955 Nash Statesman

The listing shows a four-door sedan equipped with an automatic transmission and gasoline engine. The chrome trim package stands out against the off-white paint, while the blue interior keeps the cabin period-appropriate. Because the car is described as all original, it presents an unaltered 1950s profile that works well when a scene calls for authentic background texture rather than a restored showpiece.

Producers can place this Nash in shots that need a running and driving vehicle without extra preparation. The four-door layout allows easy access for multiple passengers or equipment, and the overall condition supports repeated use on set. Its presence in CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, also reduces transport time for shoots already planned in the eastern part of the state.

Midwest Movie Cars and the Iowa Picture Car Market

Midwest Movie Cars maintains a regional focus while connecting to the broader USA Movie Cars network. This arrangement lets productions search for local vehicles through state-specific sites such as Iowa Picture Cars. When a crew needs an Iowa film car, the network routes them to listings like this one in CEDAR RAPIDS without requiring nationwide shipping.

USA Movie Cars works with state picture-car sites to make local searches easier. A production filming in Iowa can locate period vehicles through Midwest Movie Cars and still access the same database used by coordinators in other regions. The Cedar Rapids location places this Nash within reach of crews working in eastern Iowa or neighboring states that share the Midwest market.

History of the 1955 Nash Statesman

Nash produced the Statesman as a mid-size sedan during the mid-1950s, a time when American manufacturers emphasized smooth lines and practical family transportation. The 1955 model year placed the car squarely in the postwar design era, when automatic transmissions became more common and chrome accents highlighted body contours. This particular example retains its original trim and color scheme, preserving the straightforward appearance typical of that period.

Four-door sedans like the Statesman served daily needs across small towns and cities alike. Their simple mechanical layout and unadorned body style made them common on roads throughout the Midwest. The all-original condition of this vehicle keeps those proportions and details intact, offering a direct visual reference to 1950s American sedans without later alterations.

Iowa Picture Car Rental Uses

An Iowa movie car from 1955 fits period scenes set in the middle of the decade. The four-door layout supports dialogue scenes inside the vehicle or shots of characters arriving at locations. Its unaltered body and factory colors provide background texture in establishing shots of neighborhoods or downtown areas.

Crews filming commercials or branded content can use the Nash to anchor a 1950s setting without added set dressing. Still photography and music videos benefit from the same original appearance when the goal is an authentic mid-century look. Event planners and content producers working in Iowa can position the sedan as a static display piece or a moving element during staged sequences.
